Le Tanzanien Diamond Platnumz, les nigérians Wizkid et Burna Boy seront au rendez-vous de la 21ème édition des BET Awards à Los Angeles, le 27 juin 2021. Nominés dans la catégorie de ‘’Meilleur artiste international’’, ces trois artistes africains sont en compétition avec Youssoupha, Aya Nakamura et autres.
Le 27 mai dernier, le comité d’organisation de cet événement a publié la liste des nominés. Diamond Platnumz, Wizkid et Burna Boy affronteront la franco-malienne Aya Nakamura, Emicida (Brésil), Headie One (Royaume-Uni), Young T & Bugsey (Royaume-Uni) et Youssoupha (France). En 2019 et 2020, Burna Boy avait remporté la catégorie ‘’Meilleur artiste international’’ des BET Awards.
La cérémonie BET Awards célèbre les réalisations dans le domaine du divertissement et honore la musique, les sports, la télévision et les films.
